Frank Mugnolo Launches Color Games at the Global Gaming Expo

On November 14th, 2008, Frank Mugnolo, the president of Casino Gaming LLC, will launch his latest invention, Colors, at the Global Gambling Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Colors will bring a new facet on roulette, one of the oldest casino games of chance and a main gaming staple in casino facilities all over the world. Mugnolo has been widely recognized as a master in making interesting twists on existing casino games.

The invention involves a contract bet that either red or black will pop out on three succeeding spins of the roulette wheel. "Contract" is the main key to the attraction of this new bet because once a player puts down their wager, they cannot pick again until a final decision is made. That is a good thing for roulette players because gaming mathematician Stanley Ko studied the option and calculated a casino advantage of 4.34%, which is lower than the 5.26% casino advantage on all other popular bets that can be found in the American Roulette Wheel variation.

Players have the option to bet on three successive blacks or red without the Colors feature by making a wager and letting the winnings ride on the next game. But each time they are being hit with a casino edge that is 0.92% bigger than Colors. Ko studied the probability of receiving three successive blacks or three successive red digits is 10.63%. There are around thirty-eight slots on the American roulette wheel. Aside from the green zero and double zero, half of the digits from one to thirty-six are black and other half are color red.

From a casino advantage perspective, the Colors option is the best wager for player to execute on the roulette wheel. Mugnolo said that new betting option would be very simple to configure with Rapid Roulette, the electronic version of roulette that is enjoyed with touch screen video monitors utilizing a live dealer and a real roulette wheel. The total investment for casinos with this kind of wager is minimal. The existing roulette wheels are still used; even the rules followed in the game is still the same. All that is needed to factor in the betting option is the addition of the Colors wagering box. Mugnolo, who is from Chicago, has worked his skill in blackjack and craps in the past.

The addition of the Colors roulette variation to his group's portfolio of casino games will give Casino Gaming a formidable presence at the expo, which attracts gambling industry executives from all over the world. Mugnolo's first gaming concept was the Casino Surrender, which had been changed into Automatic Win. Since its launched several years ago, the roulette option can be found on more than five hundred blackjack tables at more twenty casino facilities all over the country including the Hollywood Aurora, Harrah's Joliet, Majestic Star casino one and two in Gary and Ameristar Casino located in East Chicago.
